The Corporation
The corporation was founded in 1995 as a trade corporation for industrial goods. Since 1998, it focuses on chemical products, especially for metal processing and surface treatment.
In the last few years deburit obtained by consistent research and development a portfolio of innovative products. Especially in the field of case-hardening- and heat-hardening steels, perlitic-ferritic steels, and sintered steel compounds. deburit deburring products enable a working quality which was not yet possible. deburit cleaners and additives provide a complete product system for treating metallic surfaces.
On June 1, 2004, deburit transferred its research, development and analytic departments to the Bayer Chemiepark Krefeld-Uerdingen. The close cooperation with highly-specialised departments of Bayer Industry Services enables deburit to intensify its research and development. Additionally, the field of customised services and product developments is further expanded.
On June 1, 2004, deburit also took over the worldwide sales of non-ferrous metal corrosives, as well as the industrial cleaners of the Dr. Th. Böhme KG Chemische Fabrik GmbH & Co., Geritsried. In addition to the deburit portfolio, high-quality products of the market leader for hydrogen-peroxide corrosives are now available, which will further improve the position of deburit on these markets.
